Career Mentorship Experience

The Career Mentorship Experience is a career exploration program in which a CIC student is matched one-on-one or in a small group with an adult professional to explore potential careers and related educational topics. This program provides an opportunity for students to meet successful, professional role models who can help encourage and guide the students in their future career path.  The career mentor serves as a career resource by sharing insights and providing guidance about the workplace, careers, and postsecondary education and training.  This is accomplished through formal and informal meetings organized at the school under supervision from CIC staff.

Students do not earn credit toward graduation while in the program and will participate in the program while concurrently enrolled in a Career Innovation Center (CIC) program.  Students will opt into the program through their CIC teacher.
